Our pet adoption process is friendly and thorough.
The adoption process begins when you fill out an adoption application. Once your application is reviewed, we can schedule a
an in-person Meet and Greet .
Our trained staff are always on hand to help you choose a pet that is right for you. We work hard to know each animal in our care and to help you make a good match for your household.
Our goal is to make the best fit between the animal and the adopter and to get all our animals into loving homes.
All adoptable pets receive basic health exams, vaccinations, are spayed or neutered, and microchipped before finalizing their adoptions.*
*It is our belief that spaying and neutering all animals adopted from the shelter promotes the health and wellbeing of the pet along with helping to reduce the potential for unnecessary reproduction and the challenges associated with it.
Please Note: In accordance with this policy, we will not adopt pets into households that have existing unaltered pets without confirmation from your veterinarian as to why your current pet(s) cannot be altered. If you need help getting your pets altered, we are happy to help. This policy is non-negotiable.
