The month of July conjures images of Fourth of July barbecues and warm summer nights. While we're celebrating Independence Day, we want to remind you about the most independent of companions-the cat. The shelter is offering some great promotions on cats right now, including a two-"fur"-one kitten adoption special and half-price adult cats. If you've been considering opening your home to a furry friend this summer-come down to the shelter and see our wide selection of felines in any size, shape or color! We have great summer events coming up this month! The fun begins with the Bark in the Park at Dunn Field in Elmira on July 7. To check out all of our events, click here. Don't miss our Making Tracks Campaign, going on right now! You can buy your paw for only $1 at the Chemung County SPCA on Route 352, or at any participating business. Another great way to help out the shelter is by donating an item from our wish list. We have such a full house right now and are in need of help caring for the shelter animals. Anything you can give, monetary or in-kind, would be greatly appreciated.
