Behavior and Training Resources
For dogs of all ages. Using positive training techniques, you will learn effective ways to get the behaviors you want while building a trusting and respectful relationship with your dog. Your dog will develop self control and self confidence as your bond becomes stronger.
$95 for the 6-week session
$85 for dogs over 5 years old adopted from the Chemung County SPCA
Included in adoption fee for puppies and dogs up to 5 years old
The price includes a training clicker, treat bag and instructional handouts.

Enrollment is on a first come, first served basis. The first session will be orientation and will be conducted without dogs.
A current rabies certificate is required.

Rewards-based training can help curb unwanted behaviors and instill good manners. Positive training will help you build a good level of communication, trust and reliable control. Dogs learn quickly and retain the most information when taught through positive reinforcement training methods.
